ICBC Tops the Ranking of "50 Most Honored Listed Companies of China 2008"

In December 18, the results of the selection "50 Most Honored Listed Companies of China 2008" co-organized by Weekly World Executive, Journal World Entrepreneur and "World Financial Lab" were announced. ICBC topped the ranking of the "50 Most Honored Listed Companies of China 2008" with a high score of 96.23 (full mark:100). Simultaneously some other awards as "Chinese Business Person of the Year 2008", "Best Directorate of Chinese Listed Company" and "Best Secretary of Directorate of Chinese Listed Company" were announced. Jiang jianqing, Chairman of the Board of ICBC was selected as the "Chinese Business Person of the Year 2008", the Board of Directors of ICBC won the title of "Best Directorate of Chinese Listed Company 2008" and Gu Shu, the Secretary of Board of Directors of ICBC was also selected as the "Best Secretary of Directorate of Chinese Listed Company".

The industry believes that this selection of "Most Honored Listed Companies of China" is a comprehensive assessment mainly in consideration of five indicators including financial condition, core business competitiveness, governance structure, operation ability and shareholder equity. The fact that ICBC won several important awards set this year shows its corporate governance level and operation performance have been acknowledged by the industry and public, and its brand image and market appeal have lifted strikingly. 
 
According to sources, Weekly World Executive, Journal World Entrepreneur and "World Financial Lab" are publications and institutions under the World Executive Group.
